Burning furnaces in Murano nights, the mastery of nocturnal men with their fiery mouths give life to the material itself, with which the same teachers are fused.
Men made of flesh and glass, which for a long time have led to this day an ancient and wonderful knowledge that for many generations now, makes Mantoan family part of the material of the glass itself that creates today.
From father to son, from generation to generation, the magic that has made famous Murano Island in the world is handed down.
So, with the teaching of his father Paride, Cesare Mantoan in the sixties, decided to migrate to Venezuela to take advantage of an unique opportunity to build an artistic furnace abroad, and to become ambassador of the ancient art of Murano Glass, a choice which brought some of his work in the most beautiful parlors in the world, today celebrated and admired.
After these wonderful years of hard work and satisfaction, however, a tragic car accident kills Cesare.
Cesare’s family, however, did not give up and came back in Murano.
Giovanni, Cesare’s brother, took the lead of the family and with the love that only a father can give, raised Mauro and Cesarina, becoming for them a father and taught them the secrets of the sublime and fine art of glass.
Years of sacrifice and valuable lessons, followed by the preparation and refinement of Mauro and Cesarina in blowning glass fine art. This technique made them masters and keepers of this priceless artistic heritage.
Now, the brand MantoanMurano lives more than ever, carried out thanks to new generations, from mother to child as in this case: Cesarina and Erik custodians and heirs of the artistic heritage of Mantoan family.
