GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, “General Conditions”) apply to all distance sales between the company Le Perle Di Mauro Srl, having its registered seat in Murano (Venice), in Calle Convento 28, Italy, and the Consumer (hereinafter, “Clients” or “Client”) carried out through the www.mantoanmurano.it website.  Each purchase transaction will be governed by the provisions of Decree no. 185/99 and, as regards the protection of confidentiality, it will be submitted to the rules set out in Law no. 675/96 as amended.

ACCEPTANCE

Clients are required to carefully read the General Conditions, which have been made available on the Website to enable Clients to acknowledge, store and reproduce them.

In order to fully satisfy the conditions laid down in Article. 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree 185/1999, the customer agrees and undertakes, once the purchase process on-line is over, to print and keep these general conditions, which, however have already been accepted as a necessary step in the purchase.

BUYING PROCEDURE

Before they submit an order proposal, Clients should ensure that they read and understand all the instructions provided during the purchase procedure along with these General Conditions, because they will be bound by all of them once a contract comes into existence. To purchase a Product, Clients must fill in an order proposal and send it to Le Perle Di Mauro srl through the Website. Clients must place the Product in their “Shopping Bag” and, after having read and accepted these General Conditions, with particular regard to the delivery charges and the conditions for the right of cancellation, as well as after having read the privacy policy statement, must select the desired payment method and choose the “Place Order” option. The shipping costs in Italy and Europe are completely free, while the Non European countries have an additional cost to the product of 25 €. Confirming the purchase, upon completion of the transaction, the customer receives an e-mail message containing the date and the total amount of the order.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payments may be completed in a variety of ways: Credit card, Paypal, anticipated money transfer or payment at the time of delivery.

Paypal ad Credit Cards

Through PayPal, the world leader in secure online payments, we accept all major credit cards and payments with PayPal Account. A Pay Pal account or credit card is the most convenient method of payment, convenient and recommended by us also to reduce the time of order processing. The transaction made online via PayPal’s secure systems is transferred to Le Perle Di Mauro S.r.l.

The data order is transmitted encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) on the PayPal server to ensure security of data transmission according to the regulations.  The data are not recorded in any way in our data base. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can create it in the PayPal login page before concluding the purchase. If you don’t have a Paypal account you can enter directly your credit card number.

Bank transfer

In this case the payment is made in advance before the shipment of goods, indicating name and order number.

All costs and expenses (including bank charges) associated with the bank transfer, invoiced, as the case may be, to the Client by his/her bank, shall be borne by the Client.

Cash on delivery

This method of payment is available only for products delivered in Italy.

DELIVERY

Products purchased from the moment of order confirmation, received by Le Perle Di Mauro S.r.l., will have a 7 days production time working due to the nature of completely handmade items.

Products purchased will be delivered to the address specified by the customer. Each shipment contains the goods ordered and the sales invoice. The products will be delivered during working days. The delivery of products can be divided, without entailing any liability for Le Perle Di Mauro S.r.l.

Before the withdrawal of the product the customer is required to verify that the package is intact and undamaged.

LACK OF CONFORMITY

If a Product sold BY MantoanMurano has manufacturing defects or in any case of alleged lack of conformity of Products sold by MantoanMurano, the Client must immediately contact Online Support by email to info@MantoanMurano.it, or by post to the following address:

Products purchased through the www.mantoanmurano.it site are subject to discipline, as applicable, pursuant to Legislative Decree 2.2.2002 n. 24 (Official Gazette no. 57, 8.3.2002) on sales contracts and guarantees for consumer goods and, to the extent not provided for therein, the specific provisions provided for by the Cod. Civ. This guarantee will apply to products that present lack of conformity and / or failures not evident at the time of purchase, provided the product is used properly and with due diligence and that respecting its destination and as provided in any technical documentation , compliance with the various operating rules therein. The guarantee will not be applicable in case of negligence and carelessness in the use and maintenance of the product. The guarantee is personal and will apply only to the original buyer, being restricted to direct customers and not to dealers, retailers, etc. The possible failure of the products must be reported within ten (10) days of receipt of merchandise. The written report must be attached by the customer at the time of shipment of the defective product. The product even worse, to be subject to replacement must, at the time of dispatch, be complete packaging and all the accessories and any documentation received by the customer at time of purchase. The return of the product without the original packaging, accessories and relevant documentation as above prevents Le Perle Di Mauro S.r.l. the replacement of the product.
The request will be processed only if the parcel will be returned the following documents: order number and date, short description of the fault. The cost of returning the goods to the sender are the responsibility of the customer.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

The Client has the right to cancel the contract without specifying any reason, by returning the Products purchased from the Website within 10 (ten) working days of the date the Products were received.  Upon exercising the right of cancellation, Le Perle Di Mauro srl  shall reimburse the full price of the Products provided that they are returned by the Client unworn, unused and undamaged, accompanied by the relevant original invoice and the original packaging.

Le Perle Di Mauro srl reserves the right to refuse returns of Products that do not comply with these requirements. Reimbursements shall be made by the same method of payment used for purchase.

The cost of returning the Products shall be borne by the Client. Any cost sustained by the Client in the return of Products is not refundable.

If a Product sold by MantoanMurano as manufacturing defects, in any case of alleged lack of conformity or for any information regarding Products sold by MantoanMurano, the Client must immediately contact Online Support by email to info@localhost

APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION

These General Conditions are governed by Italian law and shall be interpreted in accordance with Italian laws.

Any disputes arising from the interpretation, validity and/or execution of these General Conditions shall be subject to the mandatory territorial jurisdiction of the competent court of the place of residence or domicile of the Client/consumer.
